Microsoft may release Windows 10 Anniversary Update on August 2

This update will be free for Windows 10 users, but users upgrading from the previous Windows version will have to pay $119 (about Rs 8,000) for it.
The company announced Windows 10 Anniversary Update at its annual Build conference in March. It was told that after the update, apart from improving the use of stylus with Windows Ink, there will also be many important changes in the Edge browser. Apart from this, the update will also bring some important improvements in Hello and Cortana.
Microsoft claims that Windows 10 is being used on about 300 million devices worldwide.
Along with PC and tablets, Windows 10 Anniversary Update will also be released for Xbox One. It will include features like Cortana, Universal Store and background music.
Remember that Microsoft is offering free upgrade to Windows 10 to common Windows users till July 29.
Since launching Windows 10 last year, Microsoft has been criticized for forcing people to install Windows 10 updates. This week, news came that the company had to pay around Rs 7 lakh as compensation to a California woman for updating Windows 10 on her computer without permission.
