Mobile makers suggest five ways to improve battery life

You have to make a call and suddenly your smartphone’s battery betrays you. This problem is common and by now you must have known, heard and read about various solutions to get rid of it. Putting your phone on charge as soon as you reach home and leaving it charging until the next morning is not the best option. We will also tell you about some such tips through which battery life can be improved. And the interesting thing is that these measures have been suggested by the smartphone manufacturing companies themselves.

1. Keep your phone from overheating
Overheating of the smartphone is very dangerous for Lithium Ion batteries. Xolo’s research and development team suggests that you should protect your phone from direct sunlight. Leaving the mobile on the dashboard of the car while driving during the day is not without danger. One should also avoid charging the phone while playing games with high graphics. Due to these reasons the battery gets too hot which is dangerous for the phone. According to a product manager of OnePlus, the ideal temperature for charging any mobile is 20 to 30 degrees Celsius.

2. Do not use the phone while charging
One should avoid using the phone while charging. Technically it is called parasitic charging. Using the phone like this can prove to be very fatal. Xolo says, “This puts a strain on the battery, preventing it from reaching a full charging cycle.” As a result the battery gets damaged.

3. Do not use fake charger
An important suggestion from Xolo is to use only the charger provided by the company to charge the phone. If your phone has the function of quick charging then it becomes very important to do so. This mobile company says that high capacity charger will charge your battery up to 70 percent in a few minutes, but if it is not optimized, it can also cause damage to the battery.

Xolo’s research and development team told us that using more than the optimum current set by the company gradually reduces the charge retention capacity of the battery cells. Therefore, avoid using third party chargers for quick charging. It doesn’t matter what phone you are using, but there is no point in using a Rs 50 roadside charger for a Rs 50,000 smartphone.

This not only causes damage to the battery but it is also possible that it may become the cause of an accident. Apple had run a third party charger trade-in program for its customers, through this the company wanted to ensure that its customers used only original chargers.

4. Zero and 100, this is not a magic number
According to OnePlus product manager, you don’t need to fully charge your new phone because its battery is already charged when you buy it. You can start using it straight away, once the battery is drained then charge it fully.

On the other hand, if possible, do not let your phone’s battery drain completely. “If possible, don’t let your battery drain completely,” a OnePlus representative said. As soon as your phone has only 10 percent battery left, put it on charge. This increases battery life.

5. Do not leave the phone on charge all night
Although keeping the phone on charge all night will not cause any major harm, but there is a possibility that your battery life may get reduced a bit.

Xolo says, “Once the voltage of the smartphone’s battery reaches its capacity, it automatically stops charging.” OnePlus’ product manager also agreed, saying, “Battery There is nothing wrong in leaving the phone on even after it is fully charged. This does not harm the battery.

However, he said, “This causes harm to the environment.” Therefore, I would suggest that whenever the phone is fully charged, you remove the phone from the charger.
