Momentum 2.0 App launched shopping locker facility in delhi metro by DMRC

Delhi Metro Shopping App: Now you can travel as well as shop in Delhi Metro. For the convenience of passengers, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched Momentum 2.0 (Momentum 2.0) has been introduced. Through this, QR code based tickets can be taken. E-shopping can be done. Smart card can be recharged. Also, your grocery will be delivered at 50 metro stations and digital locker can also be accessed. DMRC claims that for the first time in the country, such a platform has been launched for a metro service.

Luggage can be kept in lockers at 50 stations

According to a PTI report, with the help of the Momentum 2.0 app, digital lockers (smart boxes) will be provided at 50 metro stations. If you are not at home and need to buy something essential, you can buy it and keep it in the metro locker. The special thing is that the locker can also be booked through the app. The locker will open only when you enter the pin in your phone.

How much will the locker be booked

According to the report, booking of a locker will depend on its size. For this, you will have to pay Rs 20, 30 and 40 per hour. The lock can be booked for a maximum of 6 hours.

Service is available at these stations

The DMRC launched this service at Shivaji Stadium metro station on Wednesday. This facility has currently been started at 50 metro stations like Rajiv Chowk, Millennium City Centre Gurugram, Dwarka Sector-10, Supreme Court, Shaheed Sthal (New Bus Adda), Dilshad Garden, Noida City Centre, Anand Vihar and Sarita Vihar.

Metro card will also be recharged

QR code based tickets can be booked through Momentum 2.0 app. Metro smart card can also be recharged. However, the card has to be connected with the app. The special thing is that if the app is connected to your bank account, then the metro card will be recharged automatically. As far as e-shopping is concerned, the metro has tied up with a store. Grocery items and other things can be purchased through the app. Goods will be delivered at metro stations. Currently this facility is being started at 20 stations. It will be expanded gradually. According to the information, goods will also be couriered with the help of the app.
