Moto X4 is expensive so buy this powerful dual rear camera smartphone
The most important feature of Moto X4 is the two rear cameras provided in it. The company is also promoting this feature heavily in the marketing of the phone. But its price is such that many customers will be disappointed. Especially interested customers who are looking for their first dual rear camera phone. In such a situation, there is no need to panic, Gadgets 360 Hindi will tell you about those dual rear camera smartphones which will prove to be a good alternative to this phone.
Our effort has been to include only those smartphones in this list which have been reviewed by Gadgets 360. As an option, customers can choose between Xiaomi Mi A1, Moto G5S Plus, Coolpad Cool Play 6 and Honor 9i. It is worth noting that the price of all these handsets is much lower than Moto X4.
Xiaomi Mi A1
Xiaomi Mi A1 is a phone running on Google’s Android One platform. Its price is Rs 14,999. You will get two sensors of 12 megapixels. One is a wide angle lens with F 2.2 aperture and the other is a telephoto lens with F 2.6 aperture. We saw the same camera setup in the flagship Xiaomi Mi 6 also. You will also get 2X optical zoom due to the telephoto lens, which is a feature worth noting at this price.
During the review of this phone, we found that we were successful in taking great photos with Bokeh effect. In most portrait photos, the edges were completely defined. But in some shots, some parts of the subject along with the background got blurred. This deficiency becomes more evident in low light. The Mi A1 autofocuses quickly and is accurate most of the time. Phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and face detection allow the camera to lock focus quickly. Landscape shots came out fine. But macro shots lacked sharpness and detail. Overall, it can be said that the dual camera works.
honor 9i
Honor 9i has been made available in India for Rs 17,999. The specialty of Honor 9i is four cameras. With the help of two cameras given on both the panels, you will be able to take Bokeh shot and portrait shot. It comes with metal unibody design. There are 16 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensors on the rear panel. The camera setup is vertical and the LED flash is integrated into the antenna band itself. Both sensors come with PDAF and autofocus.
During the review we found that the default mode works well for photos. The 16-megapixel camera captures photos with detail in landscape and macro shots. The 2 megapixel secondary camera helps to some extent in separating the subject and background in portrait and wide aperture modes. But it seems that the background blur is done through software. Camera performance in low light is average. The phone manages to keep the noise level low. But the pictures become more sharp due to which the details are reduced. Regarding this phone, we believe that the camera performance could have been better.
moto g5s plus
Moto G5S Plus price in India is Rs 15,999. It has two rear cameras (two sensors of 13 megapixels). The aperture of both the cameras is F/2.0 and they are provided with dual LED flash. Apart from this, there are features like Quick Capture, Best Shot, Tap to Capture, Panorama Mode, Burst Mode, Auto HDR, Video Stabilization, Slow Motion Video and recording 4K Ultra HD video.
While reviewing the handset, we found that you have the ability to edit photos even after taking them but the photos still need polishing. In good lighting, backgrounds are adequately blurred in depth shots. But the edges do not seem clearly defined. On the other hand, the Moto G5S Plus seems to be more capable of low-light photography compared to the Xiaomi Mi A1. We were able to capture decent shots in low light with decent detail and controlled noise levels. Even regular shots in good lighting had natural colors and textures. Landscape shots taken with the Moto G5S Plus also turned out good. The HDR mode also works well. However, we found that highlights sometimes appeared overexposed in bright conditions. We believe the Moto G5s Plus performs better than current challenges in low-light conditions.
coolpad cool play 6
Coolpad Cool Play 6, launched in the month of August, is the flagship smartphone of Chinese company CoolPad. Coolpad Cool Play 6 has two 13-megapixel sensors on the rear, which come with aperture F/2.0, dual-tone, dual-LED flash. And supports HDR and 4K video.
During the review, we found that the photos taken with Cool Play 6 were of average quality. If the objects were large, they showed some degree of detail. But generally most of the photos were of average quality.
