Nasa curiosity rover captures stunning video of colorful clouds on mars

NASA has once again shocked space lovers. NASA’s Curiosity Rover has sent amazing pictures of colored clouds in the sky of Mars in which red and green shade can be seen. These clouds can help in understanding the atmosphere and climate of Mars. According to scientists, these rainbow clouds are made of carbon dioxide ice and shine due to sunlight.
Curiosity Rover recorded a 16 -minute video with the help of Mastcam, wandering on the surface of Mars. The incident was recorded on 17 January 2025 in which these colorful clouds can be seen hovering on Mars. Although the structure of the atmosphere on Mars is different, Mars also has its own seasonal pattern, just like the Earth. NASA says that despite our planet looks similar, the clouds of Mars have dry ice or frozen carbon dioxide.
Many times these clouds wear many colors, which are called rainbow or “pearl -like” clouds. They do not appear during the day, and only in the evening. These can be seen only when they are very high. More than 95% carbon dioxide is stated in the atmosphere of Mars. According to NASA, these clouds can be formed at an altitude of about 50 kilometers from the surface and can also evaporate due to rising temperature.
