new york post Has told that the name of the robot is Exobiology Extant Life Surveyor. It is also called EELS in short. It will search for evidence of water and life on the surface of Saturn’s sixth largest moon ‘Enceladus’.
NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory According to, EELS is a mobile instrument platform. The purpose of making it is to explore the structures of Saturn’s moon and assess the capabilities of living there. The overall objective is to search for evidence related to life. It is believed that the icy surface of Enceladus is very smooth. Scientists feel that there may be presence of water beneath the icy surface there.
As we told, EELS is a snake-like robot, which has been designed in such a way that there is no hindrance in exploring the moon of Saturn. The date for launching the EELS project has not been finalized yet. This means that such a mission is still far away. If the launch of the 16-feet long robot is successful, then discoveries will become possible, which were not possible for humans.
On the other hand, a study related to aliens explains why humans have not been able to reach the aliens. The Statistical Biophysics Laboratory of Switzerland has done research on this, which has been published in the Astronomical Journal. Regarding the study, biophysicist ‘Claudio Grimaldi’ says that we have been exploring space for only 60 years. He said that the Earth may be located in a bubble where signals sent by aliens do not reach.
