During the mission, the Juno spacecraft will use its three cameras and take high-resolution images of Io. The target has been set to complete the mission by 2025. During its journey to Io, Juno will change its orbit 18 times.

Juno spacecraft reached the orbit of Jupiter in 2016. Since then it is continuously monitoring him. On April 8 this year, Juno completed its 50th close pass of Jupiter. That means the spacecraft completed 50 revolutions around Jupiter. This spacecraft is also exploring other moons of Jupiter, among which Ganymede is prominent.
