NASA Shares Detailed Photo of Far Side of Moon know about it

In fact, this place also receives the same amount of sunlight as other places on the Moon. However, this area has some of its own merits. According to NDTV report, there are big potholes here. Many areas here were formed by volcanic eruptions in early times.
NASA got this picture through its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO). This image has emerged by preparing a mosaic of thousands of photographs of this area of the Moon. In this the round and brown disk of the Moon can be seen. Big craters are also visible on the moon in the picture.
Ever since NASA shared this picture, it is getting a large number of likes. One user wrote in the comment that the far side of the Moon has many more craters than the sunny side.
Talking about NASA’s LRO spacecraft, it was launched in June 2009. The size of LRO is as much as a Mini Cooper car. This spacecraft revolves around the moon while remaining 50 kilometers above it. LRO has also prepared a 3D map of the Moon. Water accumulated in the polar crater is also visible in it.
It is noteworthy that space agencies around the world are sending their missions to the Moon. Recently Japan’s Slim Moon Lander reached the Moon. Last year, India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission created history by landing on the south pole of the Moon. India became the first country in the world to do so.
