Nasa’s Hubble telescope captured a wonderful picture of 2 Galaxies know about it

NASA has shared the picture of two galaxies on its Instagram account. Describing them, the space agency has written that the name of the galaxy present at the edge of the picture is NGC 4302. The galaxy that is tilted is called NGC 4298.
NASA has compared these galaxies to twin friends. The special thing is that the galaxies appearing so close in the picture are actually 55 million light years away from each other. These are present in the Coma Berenices constellation. These galaxies were discovered by astronomer William Herschel in 1784. Despite being so far apart, the structure and other properties of these galaxies are similar. Both of these are spiral galaxies and have a large number of young stars.
The Hubble Telescope has traveled a long time in space. The Hubble Telescope remains relevant despite the launch of its successor, the James Webb Telescope. It will continue to provide services for many more years. Last year, an international team of scientists released the largest near-infrared photo ever taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. This image allowed astronomers to map the star-forming regions of the Universe and learn how the oldest, most distant galaxies were formed.
Not only this, last year itself the Hubble Space Telescope surprised scientists by capturing a picture of a young star wrapped in a cloud of gas and dust. The picture was clicked with the help of the telescope’s Wide Field Camera 3. The young star was detected in the Taurus constellation, about 9 thousand light years away from Earth.
