Netflix plans become cheaper by 60% in India, prices start from Rs 149..

There has been a change in the plans of Netflix India in which the prices have been cut. From today you are going to save 18 to 60 percent on Netflix plans. How much benefit you will get after the new changes will depend on the plan chosen by you. The price of Netflix “Mobile” plan was earlier Rs 199 per month, which has now become Rs 149 per month with a 25 percent reduction. You will get the biggest savings on the “Basic” plan of Netflix, which was earlier priced at Rs 499 per month but now its price has come down to Rs 199 per month. Talking about “Standard” Netflix plan, its price till now was Rs 649, which has now become Rs 499 per month. The price of Netflix “Premium” plan was earlier Rs 799, which has now become Rs 649.

If you already have a Netflix subscription, you will be upgraded to the High plan starting today. The next time you log in, you will receive a notification on your device asking you for upgrade confirmation or to choose another plan. For subscribers on Netflix’s highest “Premium” plan, price changes will be offset on their next billing.

Even though the company has changed the prices, the benefits available under the plan will remain the same. The Netflix “Mobile” plan will allow you to watch standard-resolution (SD) 480p content on phones and tablets. The “Basic” plan lets you watch content on any device, although the quality will be the same as the mobile plan.
