OnePlus 7 Hands On, how much power does OnePlus 7 have? At first glance…
The OnePlus 7 isn’t much exciting compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro, but one thing that catches everyone’s attention is its starting price. Priced at just Rs 32,999, the OnePlus 7 uses the same processor as the OnePlus 7 Pro, i.e. Snapdragon 855 chipset. For many people this will be reason enough to buy it. We spent some time with the Mirror Gray and Red color variants during the launch event, now let us provide you with information about it.
OnePlus looks similar to OnePlus 6T. The grill for the earpiece in OnePlus 7 is wide, apart from this it is a bit difficult to tell the difference between the two phones. OnePlus is a very light phone, at first it seemed that it seems light to us because recently we had used OnePlus 7 Pro which is slightly heavier in comparison to it.
However, if you look at its specifications, you will know that OnePlus 7 is a slightly lighter smartphone as compared to OnePlus 6T. Both the color variants are glossy due to which fingerprints easily fall on them. If you use the phone without a case or cover, then fingerprints will easily fall on the phone.
There are two color variants of OnePlus 7 but we think its red variant is more attractive. The company has also given some of the most important features of OnePlus 7 Pro in its affordable OnePlus 7 such as UFS 3.0 flash storage, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support and upgraded in-display fingerprint sensor.
If we are not able to test its speakers at the venue during the launch event, we will be able to give you detailed information about them only after we get the review unit. There will be some changes in the secondary camera compared to OnePlus 6T. Recall that in OnePlus 6T the company had given a 20 megapixel depth sensor but in OnePlus 7 you will get a 5 megapixel depth sensor. What remains to be seen is how this affects the photo when taken in portrait mode.
The display of OnePlus 7 is similar to that of OnePlus 6T. Its brightness and color reproduction is also good. Like OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7 also runs on OxygenOS 9.5. In this you will get in-built screen recorder and Zen mode, although it does not have Fnatic Gamemind mode. Like OnePlus 7 Pro, wireless charging support is also not provided in OnePlus 7.
OnePlus 7 smartphone will come with 20 Watt fast charging support, while the company has supported 30 Watt Warp Charge fast charging technology in OnePlus 7 Pro. If you use OnePlus 6T, then upgrading to OnePlus 7 will not be a profitable deal for you as most of its updates are incremental.
We hope our review unit arrives soon. After testing, we will provide you detailed information about its performance, battery life, display, build quality and other things in the review of OnePlus 7.
