OnePlus is working on Massive 7000mAh Battery mid range Smartphone

OnePlus recently launched OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite and is now preparing to launch OnePlus Nord 4. Apart from this, the brand is also reportedly working on another mid-range smartphone, which is equipped with a larger battery. OnePlus has made 6,000mAh battery in the past and now the brand can bring smartphones with 7,000mAh battery.

Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the information on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website. This leak claims that Oga Group is working on a 7,000mAh battery pack. Let us tell you that Ouga Group is the combined research and development lab of OnePlus and Oppo. The largest battery ever in any OnePlus smartphone was in the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro model, which had a massive 6,100mAh battery.

However, the upcoming smartphone with this big battery is not a part of the brand’s flagship or flagship killer lineup. Rather, it will be presented as a mid-range smartphone. Digital Chat Station says that the smartphone is still a work in progress, with its launch still a long way off. Considering it is a mid-range model, it should be part of the company’s Nord series, but that’s just a possibility for now.

The tipster claimed that it is not just a 7,000mAh smartphone, but Ouga may also be working on another smartphone with a 6,500mAh cell. This model is expected to use new battery technology using silicon material. Glacier Battery technology features a silicon-carbon anode that provides 23.1% higher energy density than graphite batteries. Which means that for the same capacity the battery can be smaller in size.
