According to the report, this is 10 times more than the figure called safe limit by the World Health Organization.

This survey has been conducted in 131 countries of the world in which the company used more than 30 thousand ground monitors. The company has included 7300 cities of India in this ranking. The report says that India’s transport sector contributes 20 to 35 percent to PM 2.5 pollution. Apart from this, industries, coal burning power plants and biomass burning are also the main sources of pollution.

Talking about the most polluted cities of the world, Lahore of Pakistan ranks first in the list. After that, Hotan city of China has been described as the most polluted city in the world. Bhiwadi of Rajasthan, India comes at number three. At the same time, Delhi has been placed at fourth position in this list. The level of PM 2.5 in Delhi is reported to be 92.6 micrograms, which is 20 times more than the safe limit.

Talking about the 100 most polluted cities, the report says that 65 cities of India are included in this list. Whereas earlier 61 cities of India were included in this list. Delhi and New Delhi come within the top 10 in this list. The good news for Delhi is that it is now free from the tag of the world’s most polluted capital. New Delhi has now come to second place. In first place is N’Djamena of Chad, which is the most polluted capital in the world.

There has been some reduction in pollution levels in Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad adjacent to Delhi. This level of pollution is said to be extremely dangerous for the Indian people, especially in Delhi and its surrounding areas.
