Some of us want a fast processor in our smartphone and some want the best camera. But perhaps most of the people are looking for a smartphone with better battery life so that they do not have to keep charging the phone again and again. These days, smartphone manufacturers are introducing phones with larger battery capacity so that this feature can be improved. Gionee Marathon series, Asus Zenfone Max series handsets are some examples.

Today we are telling you about those phones which have a powerful battery of 5000 mAh. We all may have different needs while choosing a smartphone. Some of us want a faster processor, while some want the best camera. Everyone’s budget is also different. ZTE launched its Nubia N1 smartphone in India this month. The price of Nubia N1 is Rs 11,999. The biggest feature of ZTE Nubia N1 is its 5000 mAh battery.

The ZTE Nubia N1 smartphone runs on Nubia 4.0 UI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It comes with hybrid dual-SIM slots. The handset has a 5.5 inch (1920×1080 pixels) full HD display. The smartphone uses a 64-bit 1.8 GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core chipset with 3 GB RAM. The inbuilt storage of ZTE Nubia N1 is 64 GB. It is also possible to use a microSD card up to 128 GB if needed. N1 has a 13 megapixel sensor. It is equipped with phase detection auto focus, F/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Its selfie camera is also 13 megapixels.

Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL)
Like the old variant, the new variant of Zenfone Max, Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) 2016 also has a 5000 mAh battery. This device can also be used as a power bank. The battery of the handset is non-removable. The company claims that the battery of Zenfone Max will provide standby time of 38 days and talk time of up to 37.6 hours on 3G network.

Asus Zenfone Max (ZC550KL) is equipped with more inbuilt storage. One variant is with 2 GB RAM and the other is with 3 GB RAM. The ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display, like the older variant. It is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The handset has a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. In RAM, customers have the option to choose between 2 or 3 GB RAM. The inbuilt storage of the new variant is 32 GB which can be expanded with the help of microSD card (up to 64 GB). A 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash is provided. There is also a 5 megapixel front camera for selfie lovers.

Alcatel launched its new Android smartphone in the Pixi series, Pixi 4 Plus Power in September. The biggest feature of this phone is the 5000 mAh battery provided in it, which also works like a power bank. As the name suggests, Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power has a large 5000 mAh battery. The battery supports fast charging and if you want, you can also use it as a power bank. The company claims that the battery will last more than two days once fully charged. Apart from this, the phone can be used for 22 hours of continuous browsing with Wi-Fi, 14 hours of video streaming and 5 days of non-stop music playing. The company also says that once fully charged, the battery can fully charge a tablet with a battery capacity of 2850 mAh and a smartphone with a battery of 2000 mAh.

Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power features a 5.5-inch Full HD (720x 1280 pixels) resolution screen. This phone has 1 GB RAM. The phone has 8 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. This phone has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Archos company had introduced several handsets simultaneously in August. Talking about the battery of Archos 50 Sapphire, this phone comes with 5000 mAh non-removable battery. The company claims that once charged the battery will last for at least two days. Will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has dual-SIM slot. The handset has a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) IPS display. The phone uses a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737VWT processor with 2 GB RAM. Inbuilt storage is 16 GB which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128 GB.

The handset has a 13-megapixel rear camera which is equipped with autofocus, 1080 pixels video recording and LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel selfie camera. A 5000 mAh battery is present to power the Archos 50 Sapphire. The company claims that this smartphone will last for two days once fully charged.

Gionee M6 has a 5000 mAh battery. It is claimed to provide video playback of up to 6.4 hours, talk time of up to 55 hours and standby time of up to 33 days. This smartphone supports fast charging. The company claims that the battery of M6 will be fully charged in two hours. The price of 64 GB storage variant of Gionee M6 launched in China is 2,699 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 27,200) and the price of 128 GB storage variant is 2,899 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 29,200).

Gionee M6 will run on Amigo 3.5 OS based on Android Marshmallow. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) AMOLED display. 2.5D curved glass protection has been provided on the screen. The smartphone will run on 64-bit 1.8 GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, along with 4 GB RAM. Users will have the option to choose between 64 GB and 128 GB storage. It is also possible to use a microSD card up to 128 GB if needed. Talking about camera setup, it has a 13-megapixel rear camera equipped with PDAF and LED flash. Its selfie camera is 8 megapixels.

American smartphone manufacturer Blue launched Blue Energy XL with a powerful battery this year. The unlocked version of the handset is available exclusively on e-commerce site Amazon.com for $299 (approximately Rs 20,000).

The company claims that after charging for just 10 minutes, the battery of Energy XL will give up to 4 hours of talk time. The Blu Energy XL sports a 6-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. Runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphone has a 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor. It is equipped with 3 GB RAM. Blue Energy XL has a fingerprint sensor on the rear. Comes with 13 megapixel autofocus rear camera. It is equipped with F/2.0 aperture and LED flash. This will allow users to record full-HD videos at 30 frames per second. It has a 5 megapixel front camera. The inbuilt storage of the smartphone is 64 GB which users will be able to expand through microSD card (up to 64 GB).

Acer launched the Acer Liquid Zest Plus, priced at $250 (about Rs 16,500), at a launch event held in New York in April. To make the phone powerful, a 5000 mAh battery has been provided which supports fast charging.

This new smartphone from Acer has a 5.5 inch display with (720×1280 pixels) resolution. The phone has a MediaTek MT6735 processor running at 1.3 GHz. There is Mali-T720 GPU for graphics. RAM is 2 GB. Inbuilt storage is 16 GB. The phone has a 13-megapixel tri-focus (laser, contrast and phase detection) rear camera with LED flash. There is a 5 megapixel front camera. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Lenovo launched the Turbo variant of its Vibe P1 smartphone in February. Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo is a dual-SIM phone. Most of its specifications are the same as Lenovo Vibe P1, the difference is in the rear camera sensor. Vibe P1 comes with a 13-megapixel camera while Vibe P1 Turbo has a 13-megapixel autofocus sensor. There is no difference in the rest of the specifications. There is 2 GB and 3 GB RAM, 13 and 16 megapixel camera and 4900 and 5000 mAh battery.
