Poco X4 Pro 5G First Impressions: Best upgrade from the previous model!

There is a difference visible in the back finish of Poco X4 Pro 5G. Apart from Poco’s signature yellow color, this phone also comes in Laser Blue and Laser Black. All of them have a pattern of lines like the one seen in laser stage lights. When the phone is shaken, lights are seen coming out from both the corners. Poco’s logo is given in big letters in the camera module. This is a brand that mostly doesn’t go into details in its design but it looks quite good in its black unit.
It has a 64 megapixel camera. We will test it in the full review to find out whether it has actually been downgraded or not. Apart from this, you get 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixel macro camera and 16 megapixel front camera.
The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and 5000mAh capacity battery with 67W fast charging. The phone has a 6.67 inch Super AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate. Gorilla Glass 5 protection has been provided in it. Stereo speakers are provided in the phone. It comes with dual 5G support but the SIM tray is hybrid. For connectivity, it is equipped with Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS. An infrared emitter is also provided at the top of the device. Apart from this, 3.5mm audio jack is also available in it.
Poco X4 Pro 5G has Android 11 based MIUI 11 skin. It seems that Poco was trying to provide an enabled app drawer by default. But apart from that, everything else is the same as in the first model. It is expected that Android 12 update will also be given in it.

The base variant of Poco X4 Pro 5G has 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The price of the variant is Rs 18,999. The price of its 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is Rs 19,999. Apart from this, there is also an 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant which comes for Rs 21,999. Poco is also offering offers and exchange bonuses for customers of some banks.
Poco was considered by Xiaomi as a brand focusing entirely on youth. Now the company is on a new path. There are already many smartphones of Redmi Note 11 series available in the market and they seem to be competing with each other even on price point. In such a situation, it becomes very difficult for you to choose a better phone among these.
