Qualcomm announced Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 5G processor for entry level smartphones

Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 Soc announced : Processors from two companies are generally used in our Android smartphones, MediaTek and Qualcomm. Qualcomm has been an expert player in this field, but for the past few years, MediaTek has introduced processors of different price categories, which have also been adopted by phone companies. Amidst the challenge from MediaTek, Qualcomm has announced its new chipset. Its name is Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. It has been introduced mainly for entry-level 5G devices. This mobile processor is a cheaper version of Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 which came last year!

According to reports, Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 will start shipping later this year. This can be given in devices costing around $100 i.e. Rs 8,375. According to reports, Xiaomi may be among the first brands to use this processor for the Indian market. This means that we will see more affordable 5G smartphones being launched.

Snapdragon 4s Gen 2, also known as SM4635, is built on Samsung 4nm 4LPX process technology. It has Snapdragon 5G modem-RF system. It is claimed that this processor makes a phone capable of 1Gbps 5G speed, that is, such a fast download speed is available.

This processor supports Full HD Plus display and HD Plus display with 90 Hz refresh rate. Features like Wi-Fi 5, WPA3, GPS are also the strengths of this processor. Quick Charge 4 Plus technology is included in it, which means that the phone in which this chipset will be used will also get support for fast charging.

Talking about camera support, 16 MP + 16 MP dual cameras with Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 can be fitted in the phone. This processor can capture a maximum of 108 MP photos, although it will be based on pixel binning technology.
