Realme 6i First Impressions in Hindi, How much power does Realme 6i have? At first glance…

Realme has emerged as a very aggressive company in the Indian market in recent times. The company has launched many smartphone models in different price segments. The Realme Narzo 10 series and Realme C series are aimed at the sub-Rs 12,000 price segment, while the Realme 6 series phones are in the Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 price range. There is a gap left between both the segments for which Realme 6i has been brought. Before the phone launch, I got a chance to spend some time with Realme 6i. At first glance this smartphone seemed like this to me…

Realme 6 Was launched earlier this year. Its price and performance impressed me a lot. But its ‘value for money’ tag did not last long. Because after the change in GST rates, the prices of phones were increased. Now the company’s new offer Realme 6i To a great extent, it reminds me of the old price of Realme 6. Realme 6i can be considered a slightly weaker version of Realme 6 (Review). There are many similarities between the two.

realme The design of 6i matches closely with Realme 6. The physical dimensions of both the phones are similar. But you will never get confused between the two phones. Realme 6i comes only in single tone finish known as Lunar White and Eclipse Black. There are many streaks on the back. But they are visible only when light bounces at the right angle. I got an Eclipse Black unit which easily gets fingerprints. Realme has used matte finish in the frame which gives a good feel in the hands.

Both smartphones have a 6.5 inch display. The interesting thing is that even in cheap handsets the company has given 90 Hz refresh rate. This is the only feature that makes Realme 6i stand out from the crowd. The selfie camera has got a place on the top left side of the screen. The company has used Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on this.

The Realme 6i also has a fingerprint sensor on the side, while the volume buttons are on the left. There is no problem in their placement. There is no problem in accessing these even while using the phone with one hand. There is no complaint regarding the position of the fingerprint scanner and it unlocks the phone very quickly. The size of the display is such that there is no problem in using the phone with one hand.

The SIM tray is placed on the left side, just above the volume buttons. It has three slots – two for Nano SIM and one for microSD card. At the bottom there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, primary microphone, speaker and USB Type-C port. The thickness of Realme 6i is 8.9 mm and like Realme 6, it has a 4,300 mAh battery. However, it does not come with a 30W bundled charger like the Realme 6. You will get a 20 watt charger.

There is a capsule shaped camera module on the back. Which has become the identity of Realme smartphones. This setup is a bit bumpy, but the metal rim on the edge will ensure the safety of the camera lens. Realme 6i has a 48-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, 2-megapixel portrait camera and 2-megapixel macro camera.

MediaTek Helio G90T processor is also provided in Realme 6. This is a very powerful processor. While testing Realme 6, I liked its performance. Realme 6i will have Helio G90T with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Storage can be expanded up to 256GB via a separate microSD card slot. Realme has priced the starting variant of this phone at Rs 12,999 and the top model at Rs 14,999.

Realme 6i comes with Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10 out of the box. The company has given the security patch of June in our review unit. There were already many unwanted apps present in the phone. In the short time I spent with the smartphone, I never felt any lag. But we will discuss this in detail during the review.

In my opinion, Realme has launched Realme 6i in the market at the right time. This is very similar to the Realme 6, which would be considered a plus. Specifications are a bit weak. But the price has also reduced. It seems that the Realme 6i will appeal to those looking for performance on a budget. Should it be your first choice? For this, stay with Gadgets 360 Hindi. We will come back with a detailed review of Realme 6i soon.
