Many of its features and design are similar to the affordable Realme 5.
Realme has not yet revealed the price of Realme XT but it is expected that the price of this model can be between Realme 5 Pro and Realme X. Realme XT does not have a pop-up front camera and all-screen design like Realme X, but compared to Realme 5 Pro, many improvements have been made in this latest handset.
Realme XT looks similar to Realme 5 Pro. It also has a vertical camera module on the back panel of the phone with a waterdrop notch. Gorilla Glass 5 has been used on the front and back panels of this latest smartphone of Realme. For security, an in-display fingerprint sensor has got a place in the phone.
Instead of geometric pattern, there will be a back panel with glossy effect on the back part of the phone. Realme XT has two color variants, Pearl White and Pearl Blue. Both the color variants are highly reflective and stain to some extent. If you hold this phone in the light and tilt it a bit, you will see multicolored reflections.
Talking about size and weight, Realme XT is easy to handle. Apart from this, a smokey translucent case will be available in the retail box for better grip. Talking about the screen, the phone has a 6.4-inch full-HD + Super AMOLED panel, after spending some time with the phone, we found that it is bright and crisp.
We know that the Realme XT is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, the same chipset also used in the Realme 5 Pro. There will be three variants of this phone – 4 GB + 64 GB, 6 GB + 64 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB. After the camera, the second feature of this phone is VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
The price of the phone has not been disclosed but it is expected that the price between the Realme XT variants may be similar to the price of Realme 5 Pro. At the bottom of the Realme XT, there is a USB Type-C port along with a 3.5mm audio jack and speaker. On the left side of the phone there are three slots for two nano-SIMs and a microSD card. The power button is provided on the right side of the phone and the secondary microphone is provided in the upper part of the phone.
Our sample unit is running ColorOS 6.0.1 based on Android 9 Pie with July 2019 security patch. We hope it will be updated before launch. Ultra 64 MP mode is given in the camera mode menu and we also took some shots. When zooming in on the 64-megapixel image, detail was quite good. The other three cameras are exactly what you get with the Realme 5 Pro – an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone has a 16-megapixel camera for selfie and video calling.
