Apart from this, the phone has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Autofocus is quite fast on both phones. When taking pictures in daylight, we found that the Realme 6 camera performs better. Compared to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the details of distant subjects are more clear and the colors also look more natural. Redmi Note 9 Pro makes the pictures quite sharp and also enhances the color tone. If we look at the shots taken with the wide-angle cameras of both the phones, the details look better in the pictures taken with the Redmi Note 9 Pro. This phone is also good for macro shots. Close-ups are almost the same in both phones. However, the colors look good in the Realme 6 camera and the texture is also good.

Even in low light, the Realme 6 produced better detail and exposure in the dark areas of photos. However, in photos taken with the wide-angle camera, the wide-angle camera of the Realme 6 performed slightly better than the Note 9 Pro.

Talking about selfies, we found that Realme 6 produces good detail in selfies and also processes skin tones better. However, Redmi Note 9 Pro also did not lag behind Realme 6 in this segment. Both the selfie cameras gave average performance in low light, still if one has to be declared the winner then we would say Realme 6 is better here. In low-light pictures taken with Realme 6, the skin tone came out a bit warm. In the pictures taken with the screen flash on in both the phones, the pictures taken by Redmi Note 9 Pro had brighter colors, which is a good thing, but the camera app exaggerated the color tone a lot while processing. Realme 6 took better selfies with more accurate colors.
