Redmi Note 9 Pro vs Realme 6 cameras
Both phones have four rear cameras, but the sensors and lenses are quite different from each other. Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 48-megapixel Samsung GM2 primary sensor. Apart from this, the phone has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel macro camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, Realme 6 has a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a depth sensor, the resolution of which has not been disclosed by the company. Both phones have 16-megapixel front cameras for selfies.
Autofocus is quite fast on both phones. When taking photos in daylight, we found that the Realme 6 camera performed better. In comparison to Redmi Note 9 Pro, the details of distant subjects come out better and the colors also look more natural. Redmi Note 9 Pro makes photos quite sharp and also enhances the color tones. If we look at the shots taken from the wide-angle cameras of both the phones, the details are better seen in the pictures taken from Redmi Note 9 Pro. This phone is also good for macro shots. Close-ups are almost the same on both phones. However, colors appear good in the camera of Realme 6 and the texture also looks good.
Even in low light, the Realme 6 produced better detail and exposure in dark areas of photos. However, in photos taken with the wide-angle camera, the wide-angle camera of Realme 6 performed slightly better than the Note 9 Pro.
Talking about selfies, we found that Realme 6 captures good details in selfies and also processes skin tones better. However, Redmi Note 9 Pro also did not lag far behind Realme 6 in this segment. Both the selfie cameras delivered average performance in low light, yet if we had to declare one the winner, we would say the Realme 6 is better here. In low-light photos taken with Realme 6, the skin tone appeared slightly warm. Photos taken with the screen flash on on both phones produced bright colors on the Redmi Note 9 Pro, which is good, but the camera app exaggerated the color tones during processing. The Realme 6 took good selfies with more accurate colors.

In low light, footage recorded with both phones at 4K is filled with noise (extremely small particles), but the Realme 6 captures better colors. The footage still comes out grainy at 1080 pixels, but the Realme 6 smartphone produces better exposure and details than the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Talking about recording done with wide-angle cameras, Redmi Note 9 Pro performs better here. However, in low light both the phones captured very dark videos, which were not even usable.
