Reliance Jiopresnts Rs 189 Prepaid Value Plan Again, TRAI, Bharti Airtel

Reliance Jio, one of the big telecom companies, recently launched tariff plans for only calls and SMS. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) directed telecom companies to make these plans available. Reliance Jio has re -introduced a prepaid plan of Rs 189.

A media Report According to, this tariff plan has been listed as a value pack. This plan will get 28 days validity with unlimited voice calls and 300 free SMS. Along with this, 2 GB of data will also be available in this plan. Reliance Jio has also offered free JioTV, JioCinema and JioCloud subscription in this plan. This is the company’s lowest price recharge pack. Another plan of Reliance Jio will get 1.5 GB of data per day and 100 free SMS per day.

Recently, the company launched a prepaid plan of Rs 458 and Rs 1,958 for only voice and SMS. After this, Reliance Jio reduced the price of these plans to Rs 1,748 and Rs 448 respectively. The company did not change the validity and benefits of the Rs 448 plan. But in the plan of Rs 1,748, validity was reduced to 336 days.

These tariff plans have been launched after TRAI’s instructions at the end of last year. Telecom companies were given a month -long deadline to introduce TRAI in plans. These prepaid tariff plans are for customers who do not need data. Bharti Airtel has launched a new plan of Rs 499. It will get 84 days validity with unlimited calls and 900 SMS. The company has also introduced a plan of Rs 1,959. It will get unlimited voice calls and 3,600 free SMS with 365 days validity. The telecom regulator has also taken some measures to deal with the problem of spam calls and messages. TRAI also imposed a fine on large telecom companies for failing to curb this problem. Earlier, these companies have been fined under the Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR).
