Royal Enfield Sells 73,141 Motorcycles in June, Classic 350 & Bullet 350 Getting Strong Demand
The company’s Guerrilla 450 can be launched soon. It is a roadster motorcycle based on the Himalayan 450. B Govindarajan, CEO of Royal Enfield, said, “We are moving forward on our long-term plan. It will be an exciting year for the company. We plan to launch some new ones. This will strengthen our product portfolio. Guerrilla 450 will be launched this month.”
Recently the company launched its new Bullet 350 in Japan. Last year this motorcycle was introduced in India. Its price in Japan is 6,94,100 yen (about Rs 3.83 lakh). Along with this, the company also made Himalayan 450 available in Japan. The Bullet 350 has a different looking handlebar and a single seat. Its engine and chassis are similar to the Classic 350. Bullet 350 has a 349 cc single-cylinder engine. It generates power of 20.2 bhp and torque up to 27 Nm. Earlier this year, the company had introduced Bullet 350 in two new colors. These colors are Military Silver Red and Military Silver Black. Hand painted silver pinstripes have been provided with these colors. Earlier, only the top-end variants of this motorcycle had hand painted pinstripes.
Bullet 350 has been made available in three variants – Standard, Military and Black Gold. It has telescopic forks at the front and twin gas charged shock absorbers at the rear. Depending on the variant, there are disc brakes at the front and rear or disc and drum brakes. The most affordable motorcycle of Royal Enfield is Hunter 350. This is the company’s first motorcycle with 17-inch wheels. This motorcycle is also being sold in Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Italy, France, Argentina, Britain, Germany and Colombia, Mexico, New Zealand and Australia.
