Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Unveiled at MWC 2025 Ultra Thin 5.84mm Design 200MP Camera 3900mAh Battery Specifications

Samsung officially introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. This smartphone was first teased during the Galaxy Unpacked event held in January. S25 Edge is considered the most slim model of the Galaxy S25 series. However, Samsung has not yet revealed its launch date, but according to reports, this smartphone may knock in the market in the coming months. Its biggest features have only 5.84mm thin build, 200-megapixel rear camera setup and 3900mAh battery. Apart from this, the company has also introduced its first Android XR platform-based extended reality (XR) headset with Project Mooohan Kodename.

South Korean news portal Seoul Economic Daily Report According to, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in April 2025. It is being said that the company can launch this smartphone in the global market on 16 April, while its sales are expected to start from May.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to get a big screen from the standard S25 model. Its display size can be close to 6.7-inch, which will be equal to the S25 Plus variant. However, the battery capacity has been reduced, and it can be given a 3,900mAh battery, which will be smaller than other models of this series.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to get 200MP isocell HP2 primary sensor, which has also been used in Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, this phone can be limited to ultra-wide camera and can be given 12MP sensor. This smartphone is expected to have no telephoto camera.

With the Galaxy S25 Edge, Samsung also introduced its first Android XR platform-based extended reality (XR) headset in MWC 2025, which has been codename “Project Mooohan”. With this, the company plans to further strengthen its appearance in Extered Reality Space.
