Samsung May Provide Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset In Galaxy Z Fold 7, OnePlus, Vivo, Redmi

South Korea’s smartphone maker Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S25 series. Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset has been given in this series. The next series of foldable smartphones of the company may also be introduced soon. This can include Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7.

However, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 may have upcoming Exynos 2500 chipset. This tipster says that all prototypes of Galaxy Z Fold 7 are running on Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. In both these smartphones, 256 GB and 512 GB of storage can be given with 12 GB of RAM.

The same tipster had told that the price of Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 can be kept similar to the existing Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Recently another tipster Jukanlosreve (@jukanlosreve) has claimed in a post on X that Galaxy Z Flip 7 will have Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. The company has used Snapdragon chipsets from the beginning in its foldable smartphones. This can be the company’s first foldable smartphone with Exynos 2500 chipset. The tipster had reported that the Exynos 2500 will have XCLIPSE 950 GPU with eight workgroup processors. AMD architecture can be used in this GPU.

The Exynos 2500 may support 16-bit 9.6 GBPS quad-channel LPDDR5X memory and UFS storage. Earlier, a report by GalaxyClub reported that Galaxy Z Flip 7 could have the same camera unit as Galaxy Z Flip 6. This smartphone can be given a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It may have a 10 -megapixel camera for selfie and video calls. This smartphone is less likely to have a telephoto camera. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 may have a 6.85 -inch main display and a 4 -inch outer screen.
