Samsung T7 Shield portable storage device launched with IP65 rating, know the price

Samsung has launched its latest external storage device T7 Shield Portable Solid State Drive (PSSD). The company said that this is a USB Type C PSSD which is a credit card sized device. It gives fast data transfer speed. It has been told about the device that it is shock resistant and can withstand the shock of falling from three meters above. It has also received IP65 certification. This PSSD comes in a rugged design and can be purchased in three color options. It can be purchased from online and offline electronic stores across the country.

The Samsung T7 Shield PSSD is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 1TB storage variant and Rs 22,999 for the 2TB storage variant. The device can be purchased from Samsung’s official online and retail stores as well as other consumer electronic stores. It comes in three colour options – Beige, Black, and Blue. In the US, the 1TB storage variant is priced at $143.99 (approximately Rs 11,040) and the 2TB storage variant is priced at $260.99 (approximately Rs 20,000).

The Samsung T7 Shield PSSD has a read speed of 1500 Mbps and a write speed of 1000 Mbps. The T7 Shield features a rugged design and comes with Samsung Portable SSD 1.06 and Samsung Magician Software. This helps it heat up very less. The device is cross platform compatible and can store large data on Windows PC, Mac, Android smartphones or even game consoles. It has AES 256 bit hardware encryption that keeps user data secure in case the device is lost.

As mentioned earlier, the Samsung T7 Shield Portable Solid State Drive is shock resistant and can withstand a drop from three meters. It has also received IP65 certification which provides protection against dust and water. Samsung launched the Portable SSD T5 in 2017.
