Skoda has launched the Superb L&K trim in India at a price of Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered in only one trim, of which only 100 units will be imported into the country. Skoda has introduced the new Superb in three color options – Rosso Brunello, Water World Green and Magic Black. Let us tell you that the price of the new model is Rs 16.7 lakh more than the top trim of the Superb which was discontinued last year. This difference in price may be due to it being brought in CBU form.
Talking about the powertrain, the Superb gets the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, TSI turbo petrol engine, which produces 190 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox, sending power to the front wheels. The engine is available in Kodiaq, VW Tiguan and several Audi models in India.
The car includes a 9-inch Columbus infotainment system and comes equipped with a 12-speaker Canton audio system. It has powered and ventilated front seats. There is also a massage function for the driver seat. Three-zone climate control is available in the car. There is also a roll-up sun visor for the rear windows and windscreen, along with dynamic chassis control technology and 9 airbags for safety.
