Solar eclipse will be visible thrice from space ISS scientists will get a chance

spacedotcom NASA has determined from the current track of the ISS that astronauts will get three chances to see the eclipse. According to NASA, astronauts will see a partial eclipse over the Pacific Ocean. They will also be able to see the eclipse over California and Idaho. Apart from this, after noon they will see the eclipse over Maine and New Brunswick.
During a total solar eclipse the Moon completely blocks sunlight falling on the Earth. Because of this darkness prevails. The eclipse on April 8 will be visible from many cities in America, Mexico and Canada. Apart from ISS, NASA’s GOES-16 and GOES-18 satellites will also capture the total solar eclipse. They will capture the disk of the Moon passing in front of the Sun.
Keep these things in mind during solar eclipse
Many things need to be kept in mind during the solar eclipse. Especially the eclipse should not be viewed with naked eyes. Even using normal sunglasses is not enough for the eclipse. Specially made glasses should be used for the eclipse, which are of ISO 12312-2 international standard.
If you want to watch the eclipse with the help of a camera, telescope or binoculars, then that can also be harmful. Sun rays can harm your eyes. According to FoxWeather’s report, one should not drive while wearing eclipse viewing glasses. This may cause difficulty in driving.
If you are going to America, Mexico or Canada to watch the eclipse live, reach the designated place well in advance. If you arrive at the last minute, the traffic jams may bother you. If not necessary, stay indoors during the eclipse and avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun.
