This mosaic has been prepared by combining the data collected since then. It has been prepared with the help of High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC).

The High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) collected 90 photos from altitude (between 4000 km and 10,000 km). By doing this it captured an area with a radius of 2500 kilometers. After that these photos were put together. The colors that emerged then are indeed giving a more beautiful appearance to Mars. See this amazing form of Mars-

Looking at the photo, it becomes clear how many colors this neighboring celestial body, called the Red Planet, carries with itself. Such a form of Mars had never been seen before. Now a question might be arising in your mind that why does it appear red? Inverse’s Report It has been said that oxidized iron is present in large quantities on Mars. Due to this it looks red. But large parts of the planet appear gray or blue. As the photo also shows.

ESA According to , the blue toned area visible in it is due to the volcanic area in which grey-black soil is present. Clay and sulphate minerals are most commonly found on Mars. They look very bright in this photo. Such mineral signs mean that liquid water might once have been present here. At the same time, sulphate minerals indicate that the environment here must have been more acidic than unfavorable for life.

Mars Express The mission was launched on June 2, 2003. The orbiter has been circling it for 20 years. It is gathering information about the surface of Mars and detecting its minerals. Besides, it is also finding out what the atmosphere is like here and how it circulates.
