Suno ChatGPT Chatbot Can Generate AI Music while Using Text Prompts

Suno is an artificial intelligence (AI) music generator that can create original songs using a simple text prompt. The AI ​​platform was first introduced in July 2023 when it went into open beta and started adding users to its Discord channel to test the model. It later allowed users to generate AI music on its web interface as well. In December 2023, the platform partnered with Microsoft to add an extension for Copilot, allowing users of the chatbot to create songs as well.

Once the prompt is entered, the AI ​​model creates a 15-second long song in under a minute. The platform is available in both free and paid tiers Pro and Premier. Among several upgrades, paid subscribers are also given general business rights to the songs, while free accounts do not get rights to the songs. Currently, the cheaper Pro tier starts at $10 (about Rs 830) per month.

We at Gadgets 360 tested Suno’s web interface and found it to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. In just a few seconds we were able to type in our prompt and create an original track. We used the prompt, “A punchy pop song about an AI stuck inside the screen, jealous of real human beings,” and in less than a minute it created two versions of a song called ‘Digital Envy.’

The report states that music creation is done by Suno’s AI model. It uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT for songs and song titles. The US-based startup has not disclosed the architecture or any other information of its AI model. Suno does not generate any music sung in the style of a real artist and creates new music by going through difficult situations. If any such sign is detected, it refuses to generate music. According to the report, the AI ​​startup is also in talks with big music labels. On February 23, Suno introduced its V3 alpha model for Pro and Premier users, which creates more real and authentic music. Only V1 and V2 models are available for free users.
