Tata Motors Preparaing to Launch Harrier Ev, 500 km range expected

The electric version of the Harrier of Tata Motors included in large automobile companies may be launched soon. The company has introduced a ready version of the Harrier EV for manufacturing. Its manufacturing can be started soon. This electric SUV was introduced at Bharat Mobility Expo.

A media Report According to, its design is similar to a Harrier with internal combustion engine (ice). However, some special EV elements in it distinguish it from petrol -powered Harrier. It has a new design for the close-off grille bumper. In addition, there are LED DRLs with Velkam and Goodbye Animsions. This electric SUV has a new design of alloy wheels for better aerodynamics. Some changes have been made as LED taillights connected to its rear. Its interior is almost identical to petrol powered Harrier. It has a 12.3 -inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

The Harrier EV has a 10.3 inch instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, 10 speakers JBL sound systems. It has seven airbags for safety, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, 360 degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability control and TPMS. This electric SUV is built on the company’s ‘ACTI.EV’ platform. The company has said that it will have all-wheel drive capability. The range of Harrier EV can be about 500 kilometers.

Tata Motors EV sales have declined in the current financial year. Along with this, there has been a decrease in the company’s market share in this market. The collision from companies like MG Motor is a big reason behind this. In February, EV sales of Tata Motors declined by about 23 percent to 5,343 units on a year-by-year basis. In this financial year, the sales of EV in the country and international market of the company are about 12 percent to about 58,293 units.
