The boredom of air passengers will end! Internet will be available in flight, major change made in rules
DoT India has amended the Flight and Maritime Connectivity Rules, 2018. The new rule allows Wi-Fi to be made available in flight as soon as the use of electronic devices is permitted on board the aircraft, regardless of altitude. A sub-rule states that aircraft in Indian airspace can provide internet access to passengers through Wi-Fi at a minimum altitude of 3,000 metres.
