This is how to receive and send money through WhatsApp

The WhatsApp Payments feature has been designed in partnership with the National Payments Corporation of India or NPCI and is a payment method based on the Unified Payments Interface or UPI. To use this feature, the most important thing to keep in mind is that you should be on the latest WhatsApp version of your Android or iOS. WhatsApp Payments: How to set up
1. First of all open WhatsApp and go to Settings and tap on Payments.
2. Now tap on Add payment method and select your bank.
3. After selecting the bank, you will have to verify your mobile number. Now tap on Verify via SMS.
4. Wait for the verification process to complete. After the process is completed, your bank details will be added to the payment method below.
WhatsApp Pay: How to make payments
1. Open WhatsApp chat and click on the attachment icon.
2. Now tap on Payment and type and enter the amount you want to send to someone.
3. Now enter the UPI PIN and complete the payment process.
Those who use other UPI apps like PhonePe or Google Pay, send money to them in this way-
1. Open WhatsApp and go to Settings and tap on Payments.
2. Now tap New Payment and then Send to a UPI ID. After that enter the UPI ID and verify.
3. After the UPI ID is verified, enter the amount and enter it.
4. Enter UPI PIN to complete the payment process.
You can also send a request to those who have not yet registered on WhatsApp. Like this-
1. Open WhatsApp chat and click on attachment and then go to payment.
2. On the next screen, tap Notify and let others know about the WhatsApp Payments feature.
