This planet plays with both fire and water discovered 90 light years away from Earth

Astronomers around the world are searching for ‘exoplanets’ in search of life outside the Earth. Such planets which do not revolve around our Sun but around some other star are called exoplanets. Scientists think that such a planet may exist in some star system where life is possible. One published in the journal Nature Study Such a planet has been talked about in. Astronomers have discovered an exoplanet, which is covered with active volcanoes. This exoplanet is the size of Earth. Researchers believe that a part of the planet’s surface may also contain water.

This exoplanet is known as LP 791-18 d, which is located in the Crater constellation, about 90 light years away from Earth. ‘LP 791-18 d’ revolves around a red dwarf star. The special thing is that one part of this planet is always light, while the other part is always dark.

American space agency NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory While talking to, scientists said that there is no possibility of water in the bright part of the planet. However, there is volcanic activity throughout the planet, which may indicate the presence of water in the dark part of the planet.

Scientists say that there is a whole system named ‘LP 791-18’, in which two more planets LP 791-18b and LP 791-18c are also present. The planet named LP 791-18c is two and a half times larger than the Earth. It also affects the orbit of LP 791-18 d, causing volcanic activity on the planet. However, it is yet to be known what is the possibility of life in the planet. The team of scientists who discovered LP 791-18 d feels that this planet will be included in those exoplanets where further research is needed.
