TikTok creators move to Instagram and YouTube after app ban

TikTok has been banned in India. In such a situation, the creators of this short video platform are asking their fans to join them on Instagram and YouTube. The TikTok app can no longer be downloaded from Apple’s App Store or Google Play. But for those people who already have this app in their phones, it is still working for them. In such a situation, some TikTok creators have made videos on how to use Instagram, because now these creators have no option but to switch platforms. Similarly, many TikTok users broadcast live for their fans on this platform and requested them to join them on Instagram. Let us tell you, on Monday night the Ministry of Electronics and IT had banned 59 Chinese apps including TikTok in India. The government has said in its order that these apps pose a threat to India’s sovereignty and unity, which is why this decision has been taken. Some TikTok users are asking people to join them on YouTube.

Popular TikTok creators have been posting Instagram account details on their TikTok profiles for a long time. But most of these users have been using this Facebook app only as a promotion platform.

A TikTok creator, who wished to remain anonymous, told Gadgets 360, “I haven’t used Instagram to post regular videos yet because the reach of our content on this platform is less compared to TikTok.”

Now after being banned by the government, TikTok creators have no option left but to change their thinking. Now these people have started using Instagram as their default platform.

Since the ban on Monday night, TikTok creators have asked their followers to follow them on Instagram by posting videos on their profiles. Some creators have even given details of their YouTube channel. So that his fans remain connected to him through other platforms despite TikTok being banned.
