Toyota India has launched Maruti Suzuki Fronx based crossover Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor in the Indian market. Coming in at a starting price of Rs 7.73 lakh, this car is the sixth vehicle under the partnership with Toyota Maruti Suzuki. Taisor will compete in the market with Maruti Frontx, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and the upcoming Mahindra XUV300. Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor price and availability

Ex showroom price of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Rs 7.73 lakh It ranges from Rs 13.03 lakh. Booking and delivery of this car will start from May 2024. The 1.2 liter engine model of this car is 25 thousand rupees more expensive than the Fronx and the 1.0 liter turbo model is only 1000 rupees more expensive.

Engine and power of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor has a 1.2 liter petrol engine which generates power of 88bhp and torque of 113Nm. This engine comes in 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT options. The second one is 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine which generates power of 99bhp and torque of 148Nm. This engine comes in 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic torque converter options. There is also an option of company fitted CNG kit.

In terms of design, the Taisor is based on the Fronx, with similar dimensions and silhouette with an updated front and rear profile. It gets a revised front grille, tweaked bumper, restyled LED DRLs and redesigned alloy wheels.

Toyota Taisor gets a fresh theme with new seat upholstery. The crossover is equipped with a large infotainment screen with wireless smartphone connectivity, a semi-digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, wireless charger, ambient light system, steering-mounted controls, 360-degree surround camera and a head-up display.
