There were 120.6 crore mobile users in the country in the month of June. Talking about Reliance Jio, the company had 47.462 crore customers in May, which increased to 47.653 crore in June. The number of active subscribers of the company is 44.94 crore, which is 92.53 percent of its total subscribers.
Airtel, which is at number two, now has 38.902 crore customers. The number of its active subscribers is 38.483 crore, which is 98.92 percent of its total user base. That means Airtel is ahead of Jio in terms of active user base.
Vi suffered losses due to not launching 5G!
It seems that Voda-Idea is incurring losses for not launching 5G service. The subscribers of the company are continuously decreasing. In June 2024, 8 lakh 60 thousand 889 customers left Vi. The subscriber base of the company has decreased from 21.816 crore to 21.730 crore. It is a matter of concern that the active user base of the company is 18.826 crores, which is 86.64 percent of the total.
Overall, the condition of BSNL was also similar in June. More than 7 lakh customers said bye-bye to BSNL. The total subscribers of the company are now 8.558 crores. Statistics show that the request for mobile number portability is continuously increasing.
