Twitter deal currently on hold, Elon Musk gave information

The world’s richest man Elon Musk has told that the Twitter deal is currently on hold. Musk has tweeted that his $44 billion deal for Twitter Inc. has been temporarily stopped. He has mentioned spam and fake accounts behind this. According to Musk, the deal with Twitter has been temporarily put on hold as details have emerged that spam/fake accounts actually constitute less than 5% of the total users. However, the company’s shares have fallen by 20 percent in premarket trading and Twitter has not yet given any comment in this matter.

The company estimated earlier this month that spam accounts represented less than 5 percent of daily active users in the first quarter. The company had also said that it faced many risks until the deal with Musk was completed. In this, concern was also expressed about the absence of advertisements on Twitter. At the same time, Elon Musk had said that his priority regarding Twitter would be to remove ‘spam bots’ from this platform.
