Upcoming OnePlus Smartphones to Have New Design Language Material 13 Mini Ace 5s Expected Specifications Leaked

OnePlus designer Lao Haoran says that the 2025 OnePlus lineup will see a major design overhaul, which will include new materials, textures, and manufacturing processes. The brand also plans to launch a design-centric website and refreshed IoT products. A tipster has also shared some specifications of the 2025 OnePlus models.

In a recent Weibo post, Lao Haoran revealed (via Gizmochina) that the 2025 OnePlus phones will come with a new design. He says the upcoming models include new design styles for both the main OnePlus line and performance-centric phones. OnePlus is also developing new IoT products and accessories with new designs. Not only this, new materials will be used in the new models and the process of making them will also be different. To showcase these design innovations, OnePlus will also launch a dedicated design website.

Apart from this, in one of his recent Post China’s tipster Digital Chat Station (name translated from Chinese) claimed that the upcoming 2025 OnePlus model will have a new design. There will also be changes in small screen phones with MediaTek Dimensity 9400/Dimensity 9350 and Snapdragon 8 Elite. The tipster further revealed that the Dimensity 9350 model will have around a 7,000mAh battery and a flat OLED LTPS panel with 1.5K resolution support. The Dimensity 9350-powered OnePlus phone could be an Ace 5-series model.

The small-screen phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mentioned in the leak could be OnePlus 13 mini, which is expected to be launched in Q2 2025. If recent leaks are to be believed, the device will sport a 1.5K resolution flat LTPO OLED panel, an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner, 50-megapixel (Sony IMX906) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) and 50-megapixel (3x periscope) cameras.
