UPI New Rules and Changes 2025: If you also have a habit of checking the balance with UPI several times a day, then be careful now. Since August 1, 2025, new UPI rules have been implemented across the country, which have been specially brought to protect the system from being overloaded and to make transactions more reliable. These guidelines were notified by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in May and all banks, apps and PSPS were given time to implement these changes by 31 July.
