Video Crew 8 mission 4 astronauts returned to Earth after staying in space for 232 days
The Crew-8 mission is the longest mission for SpaceX’s Dragon capsule, remaining on the ISS for 232 days. Earlier in the year 2021, the Crew-2 mission had stayed there for about 200 days. This mission was to return on 8 October, but the weather did not cooperate. Apart from the Gulf of Mexico, the weather was bad over the Caribbean Sea also. There was a lot of wind and cloud movement, due to which the astronauts had to stay on the ISS.
On October 23, the crew received permission to undock from the space station. Two days later the astronauts returned to Earth’s atmosphere. Then he landed with the help of parachute. Its video has also surfaced. SpaceX’s boats and ships have rescued all the astronauts from the landing site. Everyone was fine in the initial health checkup. The crew was flown by helicopter to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
These passengers conducted many scientific experiments during their stay in space. He also attempted spacewalk. Matthew Dominic and Michael Barrett even came out of the ISS. However, he was not able to do the spacewalk due to a fault in his equipment. Crew-8 also witnessed the incident when Boeing’s Starliner reached space and could not leave on time due to a malfunction. Due to this, astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams are still stuck on the ISS.
