The body of Vivo T2 5G is made of polycarbonate. The smartphone weighs 172 grams, which is 10 grams less than the Vivo T1. At the same time, its thickness is also less than the previous model, 7.8mm. The frame is flat and the edges are slightly rounded, giving a slightly better in-hand feel. Two color options are available in the smartphone and the company has sent us the Nitro Blaze variant of Vivo T2 5G for review, which comes with a very shiny finish. Its special thing is that the back panel changes shades from blue to orange when illuminated at different angles. Unique gradient pattern is given on the panel. At the same time, you also have a Velocity Wave color option, which comes in a golden shade.

Vivo T2 5G has a single speaker at the bottom, which is loud for a small room, but does not seem that effective in a big room or outdoors. Along with this, a USB Type-C port is available at the bottom and the good thing is that the phone comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The right side of the phone includes the power and volume buttons, which are easy to reach when using it with one hand. On the top frame, there is a hybrid-SIM slot, which can accommodate two SIMs or a single SIM with the ability to expand the storage via a microSD card.
Vivo T2 5G features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400-pixel resolution. The screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate and Vivo claims that it has a 360Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The top center of the display includes a small waterdrop style notch, which makes the phone look a bit outdated today. The top and side bezels are averagely thick and the chin is also quite thick compared to affordable smartphones these days. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint scanner and also includes face recognition.

Vivo T2 5G has Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which we have seen in many smartphones launched last year, like Vivo T1 5G, iQOO Z6 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G etc. However, to know how the T2 5G performs with Funtouch OS 13 software based on Android 13, we will have to test it thoroughly.
The smartphone has a dual-camera setup, which is housed in two large ring-shaped modules. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support and a 2-megapixel Bokeh sensor. The phone has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling etc. We will share our detailed tests and experiences with these cameras on the Vivo T2 5G in our full review.
