Vivo’s new smartphones are about to be launched in India. The company has started teasing Vivo V40 and V40 Pro smartphones. It has been told that Vivo’s new phones will have ZEISS branded cameras. Both phones will have a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a triple camera setup at the back.

It has been told that in the triple camera setup present in Vivo V40 series, the main camera will be of 50 megapixels. This is the Sony IMX921 50 sensor. Along with this, a 50 megapixel ultrawide lens and 50 megapixel telephoto camera will be provided. 2x optical zoom can be provided in telephoto camera.

It is expected that these camera specs will be visible in Vivo V40 Pro. There may be some changes in the camera of Vivo V40. Curved edge OLED display can be given in V40 Pro. These phones may have an oval shaped camera module, which will make the look of both the phones stronger. Recently these devices were seen in the Geekbench database. It was revealed that the new Vivo phone will have MediaTek’s Dimension 9200 Plus processor. 8 GB RAM will be provided and it will run on Android 14 OS.

The Vivo V40 series will have a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It is claimed that this will be the thinnest phone in the country with such a big battery. Both models may have IP68 rating, meaning they will be protected from damage caused by water and dust.

Vivo V40 and V40 Pro will be launched in August. Launch date is not confirmed yet. Apart from Flipkart, these phones will be sold on Vivo India website. These can be brought in titanium gray and blue colors.
