Global warming and the warming earth have worried scientists, experts and governments all over the world. The snow on the mountains is melting rapidly. Seasonal cycles are changing. The agriculture sector has been affected due to excessive rainfall at some places and drought at other places. The average sea level is rising, which has become a serious matter for the whole world. If this increase continues, cities situated on the sea shore may drown and a large population may have to migrate. An animation video related to how worrying the rise in sea level is has surfaced.

NASA’s Scientific Visualization Studio has released a video. It shows sea level rise over the last 3 decades. The video shows how much water has increased in our oceans between 1993 and 2022.

Sea levels rose and fell naturally from about 3,000 years ago to 100 years ago. But in the last 100 years, global temperatures have increased by about 1 degree Celsius (1.8 degrees Fahrenheit).
