After spending about 157 days on the International Space Station (ISS), 4 astronauts returned to Earth late Saturday night. All of them were part of the Crew-5 mission. These passengers were brought back by the flight of Elon Musk’s space company SpaceX. The capsule carrying the astronauts made a successful landing just off the coast of Florida. During their stay on the ISS, these astronauts became witnesses of many important moments. He spotted the leak of the Russian spacecraft Soyuz and saved the ISS from a recent collision with an Argentinian satellite.

When all the astronauts flew to Earth, Nicole Mann of the American space agency NASA was leading the team. She is the first American-born woman to fly in space. Everyone checked out of the space station on Saturday. Everyone reached Earth after about 19 hours. According to reports, the capsule of the astronauts remained floating in the sea for some time. He was picked up from there.

The astronauts could have reached Earth a few days earlier, but the weather did not cooperate. The four astronauts who returned to Earth include astronauts from America, Russia and Japan. These include 38-year-old Anna Kikina, who became the first Russian woman to fly on an American spacecraft in the last 20 years. Apart from them, NASA pilot Josh Cassada and Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata also returned to Earth.

When the four astronauts were 24 kilometers away from the Earth, they separated themselves from the capsule using two parachutes.
