Watch Video ICC Cricket World Cup Trophy launched in space 120000 feet above the Earth

The 2023 ODI World Cup trophy has been launched into space. ICC i.e. International Cricket Council, with the help of America’s private space agency ‘Sent into Space’, sent the trophy in a balloon into space. The Cricket World Cup trophy was launched at a height of about 1 lakh 20 thousand feet (36.576 kilometers) above the earth’s surface. That place is called the stratosphere.

ICC has also shared the video of the trophy launch on Twitter. It has been told that the temperature in the space where the trophy was launched was minus 65 degrees Celsius. Later the trophy was landed at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It is noteworthy that the ODI World Cup will be played in India. For the first time, the ODI World Cup is being completely hosted by India.

The trophy which was launched into space, will now go on a world tour and will complete its journey of 18 countries from today. The stratosphere is the second layer of our Earth’s atmosphere. Above it is the toposphere and below it is the mesosphere. This is not the first time that things related to a tournament have been taken into space.
