Orion capsule was first tested in 2014. However, at that time it remained in the Earth’s orbit and came back at a speed of 20 thousand miles per hour. Last year, for the first time he returned to Earth after circling the Moon.

The purpose of NASA’s Artemis mission is to send humans to the moon again. It has tested Orion spacecraft through Artemis-1 mission. Humans will also be sent in the upcoming Artemis mission, but astronauts will not land on the moon. They will return to Earth only after circling the Moon. NASA plans to land humans on the Moon again by the end of this decade.
