On the other hand, Redmi Y3 price Starts from Rs 9,999. 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants will be sold at this price. Another variant of Redmi Y3 is 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Its price is Rs 11,999. The first sale of the smartphone will be held on April 30 at 12 noon.
Talking about the launch offers available with Redmi Y3, up to 1,120 GB 4G data will be available from Airtel. On the other hand, with Redmi 7, you will get Jio double data for 4 years and cashback up to Rs 2,400.
Design of Redmi Y3 vs Redmi 7
The design of both Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 is almost similar to each other. The main difference between the two is that Redmi 7 (Redmi 7) Aura is equipped with smoke gradient finish while on the other hand Redmi Y3 (Redmi Y3) is equipped with Aura Prism gradient finish. The thing to note is that the black color variants of both the smartphones do not have gradient finish.

Redmi 7 has two gradient color options – Lunar Red and Comet Blue. There is also an Eclipse Black variant. Xiaomi Redmi Y3 has been launched in Prime Black, Bold Red and Elegant Red colors. Apart from this, the dimensions of both the smartphones (158.73×75.58×8.47 mm) are also the same. Both the phones have the same waterdrop display notch, rear fingerprint sensor and similar weight (180 grams).
Redmi 7 vs Redmi Y3 specifications
Both Redmi smartphones are equipped with dual-SIM (Nano) and microSD card slot. Both the phones run on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie. Both Redmi 7 and Redmi Y3 have a 6.26-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Not only this, both have the same processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor.
Now let’s talk about the difference between the two. The Redmi 7 smartphone comes in two RAM options – 2 GB and 3 GB. Redmi Y3 also has two RAM options – 3 GB and 4 GB.
Now let’s talk about camera setup. The Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 have a similar dual rear camera setup. There is a 12-megapixel primary sensor with F/2.2 aperture on the rear. A 2 megapixel depth sensor is provided with it. The rear camera setup is equipped with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), electronic image stabilization and dual LED flash module.
