Huawei launched Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro during an event held in Paris on Tuesday. Both the phones come with the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor and waterdrop notch. A 40-megapixel sensor is provided in the rear of the phone. The Huawei P30 Pro also features an additional time-of-flight (ToF) camera. Huawei P30 Pro vs Huawei P30 price

The starting price of Huawei P30 Pro is 999 Euro (approximately Rs 77,800). At this price you will get 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage variant. The price of 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage variant of Huawei P30 Pro is 1099 Euro (approximately Rs 85,600) and the price of 8 GB RAM / 512 GB storage variant is 1,249 Euro (approximately Rs 97,300). On the other hand, the starting price of Huawei P30 is 799 Euro (approximately Rs 62,200).

The Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro have been launched in black color and four new gradient finishes – Amber Sunrise, Aurora, Breathing Crystal and Pearl White. A banner has been listed on the e-commerce website Amazon (Amazon India) on which ‘Coming Soon’ is seen written. But currently no information has been revealed about when Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro will be brought to India.

Huawei P30 Pro vs Huawei P30 specifications

First of all let’s talk about display, RAM and storage. The Huawei P30 Pro sports a 6.47-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. At the same time, P30 has a 6.1-inch full-HD + (1080×2340 pixels) OLED display, whose aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. Huawei has provided in-display fingerprint sensor in these handsets. Acoustic display technology has been used in Huawei P30 Pro. Huawei P30 will have 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, while P30 Pro will have 8 GB RAM and three storage variants – 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB.

Now let’s talk about camera setup. Huawei P30 Pro has a quad camera setup, 40-megapixel primary camera, 1/1.7 inch Huawei Super Spectrum sensor and its aperture is F/1.6. There is a 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle secondary camera with an aperture F/2.2, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with an aperture F/3.4 and a time-of-flight (TOF) camera. Apart from this, it is equipped with dual OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). You will also get color temperature and flicker sensor. The camera setup comes with 5x optical, 10x hybrid and 50x digital zoom support.

Time-of-flight (TOF) camera is not provided in Huawei P30. It has a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor whose aperture is F/1.8, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary camera whose aperture is F/2.2 and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor whose aperture is F/2.4. For selfie and video calling, both Huawei P30 and P30 Pro phones have a 32-megapixel front camera whose aperture is F/2.0.

Now let’s talk about battery capacity. To bring life to the Huawei P30, a 3,650 mAh battery has been provided, while the Huawei P30 Pro has a 4,200 mAh battery. Huawei P30 Pro also has reverse wireless charging technology along with wireless charging support.

The length and width of Huawei P30 is 149.10×71.36×7.57 millimeters and weight is 165 grams. Whereas the length and width of Huawei P30 Pro is 158.00×73.40×8.41 millimeters and weight is 192 grams. The Huawei P30 Pro variant is IP68 water and dust certified, while the Huawei P30 smartphone is an IP53 certified phone.

Now let’s talk about the similarities between both the phones. Both the phones run on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie. The P30 and P30 Pro with dual-SIM and dual VoLTE connectivity have a dewdrop notch on the front panel with thin bezels. Huawei has provided in-display fingerprint sensor in these handsets. Mali-G76 GPU is used in Huawei P30 and P30 Pro with octa-core Kirin 980 processor.
