The report states that a total of 594 complaints were received from Indian users over a period of 46 days, of which 316 were ban appeals. Additionally, 137 of these complaints were related to account support, and the remaining were related to security and product support.
WhatsApp says it detects abuse using its own automated tools that operate across three phases of an account’s lifecycle: during registration, during messaging, and in response to negative feedback, which it then reports and blocks.
