WhatsApp has been down since around 1pm on Tuesday, October 25. Complaints are being made about the popular instant messaging platform that there is a problem with its servers. Users are complaining that they are facing problems in sending or receiving messages on the platform. Problems with the platform affect a large number of people as it is used extensively for personal use as well as by businesses, schools and many other institutions. The messaging platform owned by Meta is currently used by billions of people around the world.

Till the time of writing the news, thousands of people reported problems with WhatsApp on Downdetector. Complaint Is of. Users complain that they are facing problems in sending and receiving messages on WhatsApp. Gadgets 360 has also encountered this issue on both the mobile app and WhatsApp Web platforms. On one hand, a single tick is visible in the messages sent in the app, while WhatsApp is not connecting to the web server. It appears to be a server related issue.

The heat map shown in DownDetector shows that the problem has been reported mainly from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Lucknow. However, it is expected that this problem has come on a large scale.
